A renowned billionaire, Bill Gates and his lovely wife, Melinda Gates have announced on Monday that he and his wife Melinda “have made the decision” to end their marriage. This was made known in a recent post on Twitter.
After a great deal of thought and a lot of work, we have made the decision to end our marriage.
‘Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.
‘We continue to share a belief in tat mission and will continue to work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives.
‘We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life,’ the statement said.
The pair have also invested a very large sums of money in the search for a coronavirus vaccine and have donated to COVID-19 treatment research.
In 2019, soon after their 25th wedding commemoration, Melinda, in an uncommon meeting, revealed to The Sunday Times that Bill battled with offsetting work with family.
‘We’ve recently arrived at a point in life where Bill and I can both snicker about more things.
‘Furthermore, trust me, I can recall a few days that were so unimaginably hard in our marriage where you figured, ‘Would i be able to do this?'” she said.
She said he was even reluctant to get hitched in any case.
‘At the point when he was experiencing difficulty settling on the choice about getting hitched, he was amazingly evident that it was not about me, it was about “Would i be able to get the equilibrium directly among work and day to day life?”‘ she said.
