Kadjebi-Asato: A Final Year Student Drowned In Lake Volta

Evelyn Gadagoe is a final year student of Kadjebi-Asato Secondary School who got drowned in the Volta Lake around Kpandu.

This incident happened when she was going to harvest okro on their family farm land.

There where six other people in the canoe when they were hit by storm on the lake Volta.

Unfortunately, report reaching us state that Four people have reported lost their lives after drowning in the Volta Lake near Kpandu in the Volta Region.

The four including a final year female student of the Kadjebi-Asato SHS drowned after a canoe they were travelling with got hit by a storm on the lake.
This sad incident happened on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

According to the report, Evelyn Gadagoe who is in her final year, was going to harvest her okro on the other side of the lake.

As School reopening is Approaching, Gadagoe was reportedly going to harvest some of the okro to sell and raise money for school when she met the unfortunate fate.

Six other passengers on the canoe survived the accident and the rest who lost their lives where sent to the kpadu hospital.
