A business vehicle prevalently known as ‘trotro’ has slammed subsequent to knocking down two robbers getting away on a motorbike at Sowutuom.
As per the police, their night patrol driver got a call enrolling that there was a progressing burglary at Anteku, a suburb of Sowutuom.
Police said a few officials continued to the scene and tracked down the two robbers in a drain close by with a Urvan transport engaged with a mishap at the spot.
“Data accumulated at the scene is that the two theft suspects as around 5 am ransacked an organic product dealer and hopped on their motorbike to get away.
“The driver of the Urvan transport stacked with travelers on seeing the rider and the pillion rider, utilized his transport to hit them. The presumes who fell into a close by drain and supported wounds have been captured,” a police sitrep said.
The Urvan somersaulted in the process with a few travelers on board supporting different levels of wounds.
Four travelers were hurried to the Ga South Municipal Government Hospital also known as Akawe while seven others and the theft casualty are being dealt with.
